Become a Foster

Foster Process

Becoming a foster is simple — and so rewarding! Here’s how it works:

  1. Fill Out a Foster Application
    Tell us a little about you, your home, and the type of pet you’d like to help.

  2. Home Visit
    Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll reach out to schedule a quick home visit. It’s a relaxed chat to make sure everyone (including your pets!) feels comfortable and supported.

  3. Meet Your Foster Animal
    After your home is approved, we’ll match you with a pet who fits your household. You’ll get to meet them and see if it’s a perfect fit!

We provide everything you’ll need — food, supplies, vet care, and ongoing support.

Adoption Information

Adoption Process

Bringing a new furry friend into your home should be exciting, joyful, and stress-free. Here’s how we make it simple:

  1. Browse Our Adoptables
    Meet the dogs currently looking for their forever homes. Take your time and see who might be the perfect match for your family.

  2. Submit an Adoption Application
    Once you’ve found a dog you’re interested in, fill out our application so we can learn more about you and your home environment.

  3. Meet & Greet
    We’ll arrange a meeting so you can spend time with your potential new family member. This helps ensure the right fit for both you and the dog.

  4. Home Check & Approval
    For first-time adopters or specific situations, we may do a quick home check to make sure your new dog will be safe and happy.

  5. Bring Them Home!
    Once approved, it’s time to welcome your new companion. We’ll provide guidance, supplies, and support to help your dog settle in.

Every adoption helps us rescue another animal in need. By opening your heart, you’re creating a ripple of love that changes lives.

Our Adoption Fees

At WildKind Rescue Society, our adoption fees help cover the essential costs associated with the care and well-being of each animal before they find their forever home. These fees contribute to vaccinations, spaying/neutering, microchipping, and basic medical treatments.

  • Cats: $150

  • Kittens (under 6 months): $200

  • Dogs: $550

  • Puppies (under 12 months): $600

Please note that fees may vary depending on the animal's age, health, and specific needs. Our goal is to ensure every adopted pet is healthy, happy, and ready to become a loving member of your family. Thank you for supporting responsible pet adoption.
